Rebel Rebel Lecture

I give an audio visual lecture based on 'Rebel Rebel-Anti Style' with about 70 still images including video interviews with musician Rufus Wainwright, designer John Varvatos, cultural provocateur Malcolm McLaren and punk author Legs McNeil. The purpose of the lecture is to give sign posts to the future of youth subcultures and how brands can further align themselves to remain relevant, increasing profitability in the worlds of e-commerce and brick and mortar.

The lecture has been hosted by Parsons The New School, Fashion Institute of Technology, Philadelphia University, Marist College, Brooklyn Museum and the Academy Of Art San Francisco. In fall 2011 I will be appearing at Pratt Institute Brooklyn, LIM College and the New York Library for the Performing Arts during New York Fashion Week at Lincoln Centre. It’s highly inspirational presentation and great for designers.
