My Favorite Shop: BOY London

(Original BOY Brochure Courtesy Tina Boulton)

Back in the 1970s the iconic label Boy London provided punks and new romantics alike with exactly what they wanted. BOY was set up BOY as a rival to McLaren & Westwood's Seditionaries. They commissioned Genesis P Orridge of Throbbing Gristle to create a t-shirt design based on P Orridge's mail art piece 'Gary Gilmore Memorial Society'.

In the 80's Boy George and the Pet Shop Boys became closely associated with the BOY image. Now BOY is back on the scene again delivering a look that features clean design with bold logos made to be worn with attitude. More than happy for Raynor to shake up the way we dress, Urban Outfitters have teamed up with Boy London to bring you this original range of cult t-shirts and tanks.
